4 DAY SAFARI IN SERENGETI MANYARA
DAY 1: Serengeti national park
After breakfast, you will meet an office representative for a briefing about your safari then take 2 hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with the ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai houses, and cattle being herded by the nomadic people.
You will endorse all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive then drive to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 : serengeti national park
You will have a full day of excursions in the Serengeti National Park on this day, enjoying the famous Serengeti Sunrise, morning and afternoon game drives, and the famous Serengeti Sunset from the camp. The center of the Serengeti, called Seronera, is a network of rivers that ensure dependable water supplies attracting wildlife throughout the year. It is here that you’ll have your best opportunity to spot the “Big Five”: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and the leopard. There will be no shortage of animal sightings as the presence of permanent mud pools and shade attract giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and hippos. You might also catch a glimpse of cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals.
DAY 3 : ngorongoro crater
After breakfast, you will take three hours drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area for Ngorongoro crater descent then followed by a game drive. At midday, you will have your lunch at the base of the crater. Ngorongoro is one of the 8th Wonders of the World, the crater is a very important refuge for a variety of wildlife. Most commonly seen are big bulls of elephants and the vulnerable species of black rhinos. The crater is also home to big herds of wildebeest and zebras, Thomson and grant gazelles, hippopotamus, African cape buffalos, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, and close to 400 species of birds.
DAY 4 : Lake manayara
After an early breakfast you will drive to the fascinating wildlife Area of the Ngorongoro conservation area.
The crater, a UNESCO WORLD Heritage site is over 260km sq (100miles) and was formed when a massive volcano exploded and collapsed on itself 2-3 million years ago. It is now the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and often referred to “African’s Eden’’. Home to more than 25,000 large mammals it is not UN usual to see all of the Big five (Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, and Leopard) in a single day. Driving through the Ngorongoro Highland, you will arrive at the crater rim and then descend down 610m (2000 feet) into its floor to start..
Then in the late afternoon drive back to your Hotel in Arusha/ Airport
