🗓️ Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to your lodge in Arusha and meet your photographic guide for a briefing on the trip and settings advice.
Overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Begin your journey to Lake Manyara. Photograph baboons in the forest, flamingos on the lake, and tree-climbing lions in the open plains.
Overnight in Karatu.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Drive through scenic highlands into the Serengeti. Start capturing wide open plains, giraffes, elephants, and dramatic sunsets.
Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 4: Full-Day Photography in Serengeti
Spend the full day tracking wildlife: lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeest, and more. Position for early morning and late afternoon light.
Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 5: Another Day in Serengeti
Continue exploring new zones of Serengeti. Try backlighting, panning shots, and wide-angle landscapes with herds.
Overnight in Serengeti.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Morning game drive followed by transfer to Ngorongoro. Optional visit to a Maasai village for cultural photography.
Overnight on crater rim or in Karatu.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha
Descend into the crater at sunrise to photograph rhinos, hippos, and lions in golden light. After a picnic lunch, return to Arusha for departure.
