🗓️ Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to your lodge for rest. Kids can enjoy garden space or a welcome nature walk.
Overnight in Arusha (Family Lodge).
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire for a family-friendly game drive. See elephants, baobab trees, giraffes, and birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch and relaxed pace.
Overnight at Tarangire Lodge (with pool).
Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
Short drive to Lake Manyara. Look for monkeys, flamingos, hippos, and possibly tree-climbing lions. Optional visit to a local village or farm walk.
Overnight in Karatu (Family-Friendly Lodge).
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater—an ideal place for kids to see lions, zebras, buffalo, and elephants up close in one day.
Overnight in Karatu.
Day 5: Return to Arusha – Departure
After a relaxed breakfast, drive back to Arusha for your flight home or extend your trip to Serengeti or Zanzibar.
