🗓️ Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Flight to Kigoma – Boat to Mahale
Fly from Arusha or Dar es Salaam to Kigoma. Transfer to the lake shore and board a private boat to Mahale (approx. 2–3 hrs). Arrive at your luxury lodge and enjoy welcome dinner by the beach.

Day 2: First Chimpanzee Trekking Adventure
Start early and head into the jungle to track one of Mahale’s habituated chimpanzee groups. Watch the chimps feed, play, groom, and swing through the canopy. Return for lakeside lunch and relaxation.

Day 3: Second Day of Chimpanzee Trekking
Another morning trek through the misty forest to observe a different troop or behavior. In the afternoon, you may choose to kayak, fish, or simply relax on the beach.

Day 4: Forest Walk or Village Visit
Optional light trek to explore waterfalls, butterflies, or birdlife in the forest. Or visit a local fishing village for a cultural experience.

Day 6: Return to Kigoma – Fly Out
After breakfast, return by boat to Kigoma and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Arusha or Dar es Salaam.
